Fortune's Shadow was a fine-fibered non-fading True Black with wonderful handle and truly diverse, robust genetics, with his age his blanket is now mixed with gray. His sire and grandsire were both grays in Alpacas Of America's high-quality herdsire lineup. He carries the brown genes of his dam and gray genes of his sire and grandsire, expressed in a few small spots in his blanket. Shadow has an abundance of soft dense fleece that exhibits rich color, shine, density and excellent regrowth with thick coverage right to his toes.

Shadow settled two of our proven dams in 2009; his first offspring born in July 2010 out of our Peruvian Silver Mystique. Mysti gave us a true black female in 2009, and from the breeding to Shadow a true black male, Raven, in July 2010. Raven had beautiful soft bundles with excellent staple length and solid conformation. The breeding to our multi-color dam Kendall Marie, produced a stunning pattern true black with white front legs named Domino. Domino had fine, soft-handled bundled true black dense fleece covering his body.

Shadow was shown once at a Level V show placing 5th in a class of eleven. He is a calm, gentle male, making him a pleasure to handle. Consider Fortune's Shadow for the possibility of black, gray or brown offspring.
