One kiss from this super friendly boy and its a Total Eclipse of the heart! Yes, he was born the day of the 2017 solar total eclipse over N. America to our Reserve Color Champion Black Pearls, sired by our super fine rose gray stud Sir Arik. This was Arik's last cria sired; he passed away at 17 years old in September 2017. We've left Sir Arik's page up so folks can read about him and the comments he received from AOA Judge Kathy Klay when I showed him at 14 years old - she was very impressed.

What makes Eclipse so special is revealed in a color study of his pedigree... a pedigree loaded with true blacks, silver greys, rose grey, and dark brown. The ONLY fawn ancestors shown in his pedigree are from 6Peruvian Conan - dark fawn '98 import, CPeruvian Tanya - beige '98 import, and the son of these two imports Peruvian Lancaster known for his lingering fineness and habit of reproducing fine black or grey crias when bred to black or grey females. This is an exceptional pedigree bringing forward some of the finest genetics brought to the US to breed for color.

This boy will be the last one we let go of as we move into retirement - he comes when called ready to give kisses or be petted. How rare is that in a fine young male?

Terms structured to meet financing needs - we will work with clients to support their breeding goals.
Stud service is included in packages and most female alpaca sales contracts.

Give us a call or drop us a note to learn more. We have the depth of quality and diversity in our breeding program to negotiate some very nice package deals where everyone wins.
